My xbox kinda got hit by a falling cymbol stand in my room. Now it wont read discs or anything, and the drive makes a funny sound. Could it just be that it fucked up the drive? and where can I get a new one if it did. I have a lot of games saved on it and don’t want to have to trash it. ---

Well the hard drive is detachable … you wouldn’t loose your games … ---

the drive in mine busted back in the day. I got a new drive and it worked fine. Mine was due to dropping i think. ---

you won’t lose it. You cannot put that HDD in another XBOX. There is a special code shared between the HDD and the Motherboard. Swapping the DVD drive will not cause you to lose your progress.
