why is my 360 only showing up in 480? im using the component cables with my JVC hdtv. thought i should be getting 720 out of them? or is my info just wrong and can i only get 720 out of the HDMI?

Did you flip the HD slider switch on the video cable where it plugs into the xbox?

ok i switched it and it only went from 480i to 480p

Did you go into the video options and set it to be 720p? I think the default is 480.
