Jeff, Mike & Drew we all at the Tea Leaf meet last night. They must not be into cars anymore… :ham:
Like I said, I had never even met cougarspeed before this. And while I’ve known Mike and Jeff for a long time, it’s not like we’ve ever hung out outside of car meets. All the mods were invited to stay, some did and some didn’t. It was their decision to make not ours.
Any other ridiculous claims you want to make?

Josh,
How about you make me a mod for the next hour and I lock this thead so that we don’t have to hear this nonsense anymore.
If anyone complains it shouldn’t have been locked you can just say I went rogue and that the necessary action has been taken (you firing me as a mod).
Anyone else like that idea?

I’m not sure if I was unclear or w/e, but I believe that it’s a piss poor decision to fire someone just because they are your friend.

Agreed, but it must be taken into consideration if you are to stay a mod, you cant show favoritism towards certain members when they actually are in the wrong.

It’s human nature, and a forum like nyspeed is built on community. People here go to meets together, cruise together, race together, and all of that bonds friendships. So it’s bound to happen at least a little bit. I mean, I don’t see it as an issue here. Every now and then, but it’s minor, and I think the mods/admins here do a pretty good job and put in a lot of effort.

the only thing i was getting at by saying it was thats usually the root of the cause, that is all…everyone gets all defensive and go nuts over it just cause i post it lol

Being the single most annoying member makes you happy? Way to set lofty goals.
Oh and just for reference our “favorites” have racked up lots of infractions. I am not sure how many times we have banned Beck, and Newman still holds a record for infractions I think. Maybe deebo passed him, but Newman had it for some time. I think that even the infallible Mr. Fry has one.

2 warnings and a sig infraction from some dude named RX3. Of course I’ve gotten away with being an ass countless times because I’ve drank a lot of beer with several mods. 10 beers = 1 infraction. It’s in the site rules.

Dear Skurge,
Now that you’ve put my name into your mouth and have clearly called into question my morality and where I stand, I now have a problem with both you, your attitude, and your pure ignorance… about everything. Now, anyone who knows me knows that I do what I do here for the over all betterment of the forum and community. If there’s a decision that Bing or Onyx make that isn’t in that ideal, IMHO, I am the first to open my mouth. There’s a lot of things behind the scenes that no one ever sees. We(forum staff) all don’t see eye to eye and that’s why we work as a forum staff. We all come from different back ground and have different thoughts about things.
All of that being said, I do what I do to try and make our “world” better, for everyone. There are no perks for reading every single post to review it. The only thing I get is the slow loss of my sanity because of people like you.
