Part of my work has me looking at information on all sorts of vehicles. One thing I have noticed is that there are a lot of people with bikes in the northeast that don’t have very many miles on them. It’s not unusual for me to come across 6-7 year old bikes with only 4-5k miles on them. On occasion though, I have come across a few with LOTS of miles…a 5 year old H-D with over 100K comes to mind… This got me to wondering…Every year that I have had a motorcycle, I seem to average about 5500 miles on it. How many miles a year do you put on? ---

8-10K was my avg. This year (now that I own a Harley) probably closer to 13-15K. ---

Around 8-10k is my average as well between the bikes. Car typically sees little to no use during the summer. Last years 3800 mile trip in a week helped me get some solid numbers. Most sportbike owners average 3.5k or so a year as a rule of thumb. ---

i put 4kmi on my daytona last year, kind of dissapointed with it honestly. The first week i had it i probably put on 1000 miles just trying to get through the break in period as quickly as i could. Hoping that this year i will get it out a lot more ---

Purchased bike early may 2011 with 3600 on it. Just turned 12000 on it. ---

No clue. Tach/speedo/odo are all way off. :lol
