The absolute only reason to have a turbo is for the spool sound, without it its totaly useless. ---

Depending on turbine/housing sizes and such, this could eliminate any turbo lag from a single large turbo and give you much better throttle response. I’m in for the progress/end result ---

really? who’d have thought more small turbos cause less lag and more immediate power…like every TT setup ever made as opposed to one giant turbo :bloated: ---

This allows you to essentially use 2 compressor maps and really spread out your efficiency. 4 little turbos are still going to have a similar combined efficiency to another turbo, and likely has more rotating mass. There is no spatial constraints limiting the use of one appropriately sized single. But the packaging in the cars lends itself to twins. In the case of the Z, because it’s a V6, in the skyline, because of width. ---
