I personally ride well within my means on the street. These NY streets aren’t maintained well enough for me to do aggressive riding. That’s not to say I don’t do spirited riding, but I think it’s safe to say we all enjoy those. My post was not directed to you by any means. Just people in general who like to brag about pushing a bike in the turns then bash a person who cares to do a 150 bomb or straight line drag racing (street of course). Both unsafe and mindless in my opinion. That being said, I will admit that I’ve done my share or “spirited” riding which undoubtedly could be considered reckless for NY roads questionable condition.
