Personally I have been a street motorcyclist for over 40 years and have always found it is best to listen to others that know more than I do and learn from them. Something you should consider. A smaller bike is forgiving and flickable in the turns making learning the streets easier for most new riders. They are less expense to operate and if it gets dropped less expensive to replace parts on. I am not trying to continue or to reignite an argument here but for someone with a “max” of maybe 5 seasons of experience (That’s if you bought your first bike new.) that makes you a new rider in the realm of things. I am only posting a response because I would not want a new rider to read what you have written and think that you know what you are talking about because in my opinion you are clueless and giving bad advise.
