:word: The Euro and European Union were brought about intentionally by political negotiation in the search of a greater win/win situation. Not any sort of governmentally orchestrated near-collapse of the economy designed to scare the people into accepting tighter rule.

We as Americans have found a new way to be stupid. Thus far it seems like our government is doing a good job of keeping us from plunging into another depression. Now they’re looking to implement ways to keep us from being victimized by the dumber ones amongst us.

I’m pretty sure the generation after the Baby Boomers will officially go down in history as the entitlement generation. Fucking damn near sent the economy into a recession by living beyond their means.
