I can tell you this, I have an aquaintence who owns a shadow company that does backround checks via internet, and looks for screen names etc… facebook/AIM etc is often a source… its amazing what can be found out. Cumberland Farms wont do it, but big companies like Lockead Martin have been, and now even small companies can afford it. He is booming. The payscale is upped by incrimination. I assume that means if they find your sexually harrassing in a forum, his payout may rise…and you will never know why you didnt land that job. I await the discrimination lawsuits, but hard to prove intitally I suppose…
