Wonder who’s the biggest car whore on here, I know there is always the one guy who goes through cars before oil change is even due. Post your cars, starting with the oldest, and a brief history, pictures are optional. Mine: First car, 1989 Honda CRX Si… bought 4 years ago… on 16th Bday still have it, no pic necessary, we all know that car. Second car, 1990 Honda CRX Si… bought it on my 18th birthday, took everything I wanted off it, sold it a year later for 450$, bought it for 300$. Third car, 1990 Honda CRX Si… bought it on my 19th birthday, still have it, now a dedicated track rat. I see a pattern with cars, I got :lol And the two bike toys, the 03 650S, and 06 Kawi 636. ---

1st car: 1992 Blue Plymouth Acclaim 4cyl great in the snow bought for 1200 sold for 800 2nd car: 1982 Blue Mercedes-Benz 300D 5cyl diesel smoked like a SOB loved it sold it for 700 with 253k on it 3rd/present car: 1999 Blue Saab 9-3 Viggen 4cyl love it and still running strong. ---

86 cavalier - Got it when I was 17 for $800. Complete POS. Was a tank though. Got $800 from a slight rear-end collision and then sold it for $800 a year or so later… i win! 93 accord - right before i went to RPI. Had it for over 4 years. awesome car. Was going to keep it as a winter beater, but decided to sell it to mod the evo. 03 evo - bought it right as i got my first job out of school. Still lived at home. Kinda a dumb decision, but it all worked out for me. (still have) 89 accord - changed my mind and decided I needed a winter car cause the evo was too pretty. Got this for $500 and had it for over 2 years until some jerkoff from jiffy lube forgot to use his brakes slammed into the back of me. Totaled! I never put a dime into the car, best car I’ve ever had! 01 dakota 4x4 - had it for almost 2 years now and has been great. I was a little worried buying a 5 year old used american car, but so far so good. (still have) ---

88 Monte Carlo, built 350, holley carb, a lot of eidelbrock parts, headers, sidepipes, American Racing wheels, crazy stereo. 98 Chevy s-10, 4 cyl, 5spd, clarion cd player and american racing wheel this was suppose to be my daily driver and the Monte carlo was my “show car” This was my first new vehicle. 99 Cadillac Catera, yes I just admitted to owning one of these, it was by far the worst car I ever owned and ended my passion for GM vehicles. It met its demise in a bad accident 92 VW Jetta, this was my first and last attempt at a winter beater, this was the most expensive car to maintain I ever I ever owned, it literaly cost $1k/month in parts alone to keep this pig on the road. After I sold it the girl who bought it drove it for 3 years with no problems :headbang 01 VW GTI GLX VR6, it wasn’t a bad car but the clutch sucked right from the start, it always slipped on hot/humid days or if you were driving really hard. 04 Acura TSX 6MT, this was probably my favorite car I’ve owned. While it wasn’t the fastest it was the most fun to drive, I had a comptech icebox on it, DC sport header and Comptech rear sway bar. I would probably still have it but a synchro went in 6th gear, and the dealership couldn’t assure me that it would be covered under waranty, so I traded it in on the G 07 G35x, its pretty quick and a good highway cruiser, front seats are super comfortable and I feel its a good looking car, a vast improvement over the first gen. G35s. My problem is that its not engaging to drive, its certainly not a “drivers car” its very heavy and feels that way, I am looking to get rid of it ASAP future car 05-06 Lotus Elise, I don’t work so I don’t need a daily driver, I want something that is light and fun. I have driven pretty much every production vehicle from the last 15 years(minus a few of the really rare exotics) and the elise is still the most fun and engaging car I’ve ever driven. Not the fastest, maybe not even the best handling, but it had the best feedback and made me feel connected to the road in a way no car has. One of my buddies is an oldschool VW guy, when I was explaining the car to him, he thought it was made with old VW philosophy but with modern/more reliable parts. If VW maintained the direction they had in the very early 80’s and made a sports car today, it would be similar. I’ve also owned probably 2 dozen or more other cars through my business over the last 10 years, but I don’t remember years, or even all the cars, in fact it may be close to 3 dozen. ---

1988 Honda CRX si- I bought this car when I was 16. Fully restored it myself, including the paint job I did at Village Auto as an intern there. Mod’s included Wing’s West full body kit, full stereo with PS2 and rear view mounted tv (was a mirror and a tv), 16" Konig Traffik’s wrapped in Nitto tires, Greddy SP catback exhaust, plus a whole bunch of other odds and ends. Sold the car to some 50 year old guy who then sold it to some bozo kid who soon after totalled it on the highway hitting a deer at he said 100 mph :🙂 1996 Honda Accord LX. Daily driver, Tranny died about 2 years ago. RIP 1998 Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6. Bought this one right after selling the CRX when I was 18. Did a full european front end on the car, put 15" BBS Bugatti’s with Yokohoma tires, Tectonics Tuning catback stainless steel exhaust, TT Chip, full suspension, strut bars, etc., intake, port/polished intake manifold, lots of other odds and ends to this car. Sold it when I was 20 to a local kid who actually still has the car. Ben if your reading this, I still want this car back! 1990 Volkswagen Jetta Coupe GL. Had this while I also had my VR6 Jetta, Basically just drove this bad boy and bombed it around town. Sold it to Dana Veith down in Poughkeepsie. I’m sure we’ll be seeing this car around again in the future fully restored and built! 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. Had this a while too. Threw an exhaust on it, tinted the windows. Sold it last year 1990 Mazda MX-6 GT Turbo. Owned this while I had my Hemi. Swapped a new transmission into it, drove it for a while. Found someone who wanted to buy it. Made $600 on the deal. 2001 Volkswagen Jetta VR6 GLX. Current car ---

1990 Acura Integra GS-Got it when i was 16…i got hit by a short bus and it totaled it 1989 Ford Mustang-Motor blew the day i got it…lasted 12 hours :crackup 1989 Mazda MX 3- Over heated on i-90 so i sold it for a 1000$$ lol 1994 Ford Probe GT-6cyl 5speed…i loved this car…got hit in a hit in run in front of my house and it was totaled :sad 1991 Acura Integra GS-b16a1 swap, All the other fun stuff, Threw a rod and now its getting a TURBO build 1994 Suzuki RF900r- Lost it on loose gravel and it was badly damaged but not totaled…sold it anyway cause i was pissed :lol ---
