I have a bunch of friends coming over here tonight, and I am sure within 45 min. I will look around the room and think the same thing. I usually do. Some of the people are cool, however there are the pathetic losers that are 25, live at home and still drive moms car! Anyone that is remotely cool wanna come and liven this place up tonight? ---

my best friend since 1990 is now 21, a raging aloholic, has wet himself in bed while drunk about 7 times now(even with girls in bed with him) and switched from 4.0highschool into pre-med at Upitt. then to 2.8 business major @Upitt. what does that mean?:bloated: ---

Wait till you guys get older. I hung out with the same friends from h.s till about age 28-30. Then you start having kids at different ages and find you really dont have anything in common anymore. I had kids first out of my buddies and while they were going out parting i’d be home with my wife and kids. Its funny now they have younger kids and it’s opposite. I wanna go out and they cant. When you get really old as fuck like me you start hanging out with your kids friends parents. It blows they are all cool peeps but none of them are into cars etc… I’m sooo alone whaaaaaaaaa LOL ---

Well there’s one dude, but I didn’t really know him in high school and now we’re in MBA school together so it doesn’t count. But yeah, most of my friends are at least as successful as I am. lol not that I set the bar very high. Somewhere above pitiful, right at that “functioning alcoholic” level. Perfect illustration is that my Saturday night is surrounding me in the form of a 12 sheet excel workbook, an statistics text, and a bunch of empty Genny Lights. 🙂 ---

this is why i have like 3-4 solid groups of friends, then a whole bunch of randoms. each group has a different personality, but are great people. most of my friends are several years older than myself. i also have several “really close” friends, so i guess im lucky since mario died i make it a point not to take friends for granted ---

I still have a handful of friends from highschool, and they are cool cats for sure. Generally, my friends now a days are similar in success and maturity… it’s usually easier to have friends that are “in the same place” as you are in their lives. I do have broke imbecile friends though, and they are good for a laugh. :shrug: ---
