# Youtube vids download to USB

I want to download youtube videos onto a usb to play on my headunit in my car. Anyone know how to just download the audio file onto your computer so you can just copy them over to the removeable drive?

Cause i’m too cheap to buy music from itunes, dont want to download them off kaazaa or w/e is used today cause of viruses, and just was curious if it was actually possible.

A fair assumption…though you may be in trouble. My little brother’s a senior Mech-E at Pitt this year (full ride, same as you) and from his descriptions of the workload, it sounds like computer knowledge becomes very important.
As to your original question, the easiest way is to record the audio using Audacity. It will record whatever sound is playing on your computer regardless of source. You can get it [here](http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/).

this is so simple to do…you take the usb/flash drive…stick in in the usb port in the side of your comp, smear peanut butter all over the keys, yell at the keys m-fin this an m-fin that, punch the screen, piss on the mouse, poop in the cd drive an then yell the songs/videos you want on, then boom its done, take the usb out an your ready to go!!!
no idea how to do it, just grow a mullet :drama:
