what about not using aluminum and using actual sheet mild steel or something? heavier yes, but cant be all that bad compared to as cast manifolds. SHould be easier to work with as far as welding goes ---

well i ordered my pistons ended up going with custom j.e’s i went with an .045 quench pistons are in the hole .005 .040 compressed gasket with a 16 cc dome gives me 11.03cr :2thumbs: at 137$'s a piece i sure do hope they work out well ---

thnx man anyways figred id update everything is inplace for the shortblock just waiting on pistons to come in 3.0 L displacement 3.4L block 2.8L crank h-beam rods forged pistons w/ 11.0-1 cr 286/290 adv .590/.590 116lsa solid roller cam to round out the shortblock on the top side of things i have a set of iron heads fully ported oversized custom manley stainless intake and ex valves k motion valve springs 245#'s seat presure and 690#'s open presure k motion 10 degree locks and retainers custom sheetletal manifold redline is set at 9,000 rpms this thing is going to be bad asssssssssssssssss i have made a few other changes as well ditching the front mount a/a intercooler for a cabin mounted a/w and i am mounting the s475 in the front grill sort of like this ![http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f305/fast82z/100_0896.jpg](http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f305/fast82z/100_0896.jpg) i cant wait i have a huge score to settle with some cars back in jersey 😃 ---
