# z32 maf downgrade to sohc maf

Hey guys i bought a sr20 harness a while back and the car it was connected to had a z32 maf. The guy cut the connector off to use for his new harness and now im left with 4 wires:S. Black, Back/white stripe, White, and that wire strand stuff. I wanted to know which one goes to which port on the sohc maf. Also looks like the guy didnt use the stock insulation stuff. How important is that?

Look it up.
It’s only 3 wires
Black - ground
one is signal,
the other is 5v.
There are tonnes of diagrams out there.

black is ground
White i believe it +5v
and white black is signal
Not sure but i’ll double check the FSM when i get home for yah

i got it thanks alot guys. And i did search but i had 2 green wires and 2 red i was confused then i realised he extended far into the wiring.
