# ZR1 LPE vs. GT-R P800

why was the ZR1 at 2000rpms the second race while the GTR was at 5k from the hit???
was the ZR1 in a higher gear cause of traction reasons or what?
It seem’s like when they are both in their power bands, the ZR1 is a tab bit faster.

I never understood why people were asshats when they had nice cars. Man, it’s just a car, were all on the same level here.

I dont know. I wasn’t there to race. The ZR1 is not faster.
The GT-R has a significant amount of work done though, while the ZR1 I think has bolt ons.

if the ZR1 wasnt faster, the GTR would have won every race…
go back and watch the video. The second race where the GTR pulls right away, they show the dash of the ZR1 on the hit and hes only at 2 grand. Go figure why the GTR yanked him on that run.

If I see somebody with a nice car I sometimes will say “Nice car” or something along those lines given the opportunity. I don’t go out of my way to say it nor do I interrogate people because that’s just not very nice.

Looks like the ZR1 was reeling the GTR in once it got into it’s powerband…
Then again it’s hard to tell by watching youtube videos.

yah I just watched it again…
first run the ZR1 was reeling him in pretty good and the GTR hit its brakes
second run, god knows why the zr1 was at 2k.

On the way home from PA last sunday I saw a new orange Challenger (or maybe it was the Camaro? I don’t remember, but it was nice) and gave the guy a thumbs up.
Same day…me and a 09 Accord coupe (all smoked out, rims, drop, grey, nice looking car) were doing a steady 90 in and out of minor traffic from like Beacon up to Ravena)…gave him a thumbs up.
I keep it short and simple.

I had a cop give me thumbs up, that was dope.

Most Vette owners are d-bags. The few exceptions I’ve met are already on this forum (Tony, E, Travis, maybe another one or two) I could care less about them. I’m sure there are more exceptions though.
