This is more so for the software aspect than the hardware. Anyone using the Zune player? I switched over from iTunes a couple months back and I am really enjoying it. The interface is really nice, it has “watch folders”, album look ups, and what I think is one of the best features is their “Now Playing” screen.

It alternates between a few different still pictures of bands (not all bands have them) and displays the title of of the song, the artist, the album, etc.

Also it has a social aspect (requires a Windows Live account) so you can see what your friends are listening to and viceversa. If your interested or have it, you can add me @ ProgRocker87

I have a 32GB Zune HD and I love it. The player and the software kick ass. For music lovers, it really blows itunes out of the water.

One thing it lacks is no iPod support, not that it’s surprising it doesn’t but it would be nice. It also needs a better album lookup. Other than that it’s pretty damn slick. I’ve been looking into getting a Zune also. I like the interface, the fonts, the colors, and from what I’ve heard it just trumps the iPod in functionality.

i love my zune HD, the UI is a lot better then the ipod and the software is so much faster than itunes. itunes take about a minuet to load where the zune player loads in seconds, since i got rid of my iphone i have not touched itunes
