I just had a chance to play around with the cool little riding mower from this guy from rodandpiston.com and the pull starter is not winding back up and its a pain to rewind it by hand,
So nyone got a spare pull starter thinggy for a briggs and straton 8hp motor? or one that would work?

i doubt you need a new one prolly just have to rewind the spring properly
yea those springs r a pain in the ass to get back to where there supposed to be. i aways just used a impact wrench on the bolt that sits right there. well thats what i did on my race lawnmowers it sucked tho when you were far away and had to push it back tho haha.
lol fixed whacked it once with a hammer now it works like new.
