Well as for the engine bay, and the wheels… when I bought the car the engine bay was already painted black. The previous owner of the car was going to paint it black, but I changed my mind and went with a red color. Now as for a turbo… I don’t think I’ll be heading in that direction. My next goal will be to get my heads done, from what I hear a good set of cams for this engine will do me just fine for the time being. I could sit here and list of tons of stuff I’d like to do to the car, but I don’t really have the time. So as of right now I will be driving my car for the season and enjoying it. Once winter comes back around, I’ll more than likely do more modifications. What gets done, well that will be decided when the time comes, but as said before, a turbo won’t be in the future. And as for my money… well I don’t think that really concerns you. If you work hard, you get paid, that’s the advice I was given.

Photo Update: Watkins Glen trip

Recently I got the chance to run my car at Watkins Glen and had a great time. I took a bunch of photos, so enjoy.

The Line up:
93 Mazda Rx-7 Twin turbo with a new 3 inch exhaust thanks to Inlineperformance, I should be able to get some photos that I can post. 08 Mini Cooper S with a “sport package” no aftermarket mods, but the car does well on a track for a production car. My 95 civic, same mods as before but I did put on the 11.1 willwood brake kit. I’ll be sure to take some close up photos and post them just so all of you will believe me. haha. And last but not least the 99 Subaru 2.5 Rs.

The trip was a lot of fun, I suggest it to anyone who really wants to test out their car in the corners. It was a great learning experience and I got to meet some people with some incredible cars. I’ll throw a couple photos at the end of the post for everyone.

These pictures were taken with a cheap digital camera, here are a few pictures from Timetrackphotos, which shows photos from a variety of tracks and they came out great. Here are some Links to some great photos, I would have just pasted them, but I don’t want to get into any trouble haha.

If you look closely you can see the Willwood brakes haha.

Look closely, the Civic is catching up to the RX-7 haha.

There’s a Link to all the advanced/solo group while I was up at the track, it’s just a bunch of really good pictures of some fast cars:

Again, I would like to send my thanks to Bob and Dave over at inlineperformance. Without their hard work the trip would have been canceled for my family and friends. They have helped me make a great car and designed a great exhaust for the Rx-7 while making a difficult dead-line (it was mostly my fault and the owner’s haha). Like said before, Inlineperformance as made this all possible. I really can’t thank them enough for they time and consideration for building two cars that survived a strong beating at Watkins Glen.
