The price is a little high to be honest considering the hoods shot, the door has rust and the miles are higher than average for a 2000. But your not terribly off. Its still a relatively clean rare, nice car and from the engine bay and interior pic it def looks like its been well maintained and besides the hood the paint does look great GLWS

5400 is a fair asking price, gives room for negotiation. At this point like it or not hondas like this are hard to find in this condition, no motor mods, clean unscathed interior. honda has a cult following, if the seller is willing to ballpark this thing at around 4500-4750 then I would imagine this going quickly.

If you know anything about cars youd know blue book doesnt mean a damm thing, its just for people who have no idea what the value of their car is to have a ball park range when setting their asking price.
KBB does not take into consideration the color of the car. A blue si is far more sought after then the red or black models.
The majority of Hondas are selling above kbb, while most other makes are selling far below. Consider the chances of finding another blue si in NY. They are out there, yes, but much harder to find then the average civic.
I am the owner of the car, i set the price at $5400 becasue squirrels like you like to low ball - hense your $3500 offer. Price set at $5400 figuring id settle at $5000, which is all i am looking to get for it.
