Yeah I think 50 should calm down a bit. Atleast converse with Dre and Eminem about everything before just doing stuff. The Game was majorly hyped up. His cd was not the shit, it was cool to get back to the early rap stuff but you have to look towards the future. 50 is probably under a lot of pressure because he hyped up Game and then the Game isnt loyal back to 50. So wtf? But this should be handled in a conference room or sumthing, not shooting. But whatever. Its all just a game.

“before you know i’m creepin up on you in a liquorish black drop top brogham” " that nigga died for the blocc so lets heat them motherfuckin glocks"

i still don’t see how regulate can make that list.

16 in tha clip and one in the hole…thats how! its a good tune, the words aren’t exactly hard core but its good song. most of the songs on my list are samples of other songs…that makes for a good rap song to me.

i’m just throwing this together real quick…

i know i’m leaving out stuff
Busta, Roots, Public enemy, etc…

but IMO this list is hot

Biggie - one more chance remix , Juicy, Warning
nas- hard to tell
A tribe called quest - Oh my god remix & electric relaxation & senerio (regualr & remix)
Wu Tang - aint nothing to f with - CREAM
Beastie Boys & Qtip get it together
MosDef - Ms. Fatbooty
Clipse - Grindin
Common - 6th Sense & Light
Mobb Deep - shook ones
L. HIill - everything
Fugees-ready or not

no order…i’m just throwing out stuff that easily rivals your list

lauryn hill isn’t rap. hip hop is not rap. i’ll give you juicy, thats about it. I guess i’m pretty much west coast and down south gangster rap.

from jay leno on nelly being nominated for the CMAs. “what is it called when u mix country and rap”

rap is something you do…hiphop is a lifestyle

& second…there is no such thing as gangsta rap cause real gangstas don’t rap

GAY

Hip-hop n., an American cultural movement composed of four main parts: breakdancing and graffiti art along with two more well-known aspects known as hip-hop music; they are rapping (emceeing) and DJ-ing.

Rap v., the act of saying rhymes to the actual beat of the music.

:gives: its music… best cut song ever - fuck doggy dogg… got it off kazaa and dont know real name or not…

game? what about eazy? he pressed boyz in the hood with drug money. what about bloodz n cripz :bangin on wax? what about brotha lynch hung? are you telling me in his early years snoop wasn’t still crippin? Most of the problem in rap is because alot of these guys are still gangsters.

Yup, you are correct. Hip hop is not rap. Rap is part of hip hop. Rap is something you do, hip hop is something you live.

And yet no one says anything about Public Enemy… Stuff is just as relevant today as it was back when it came out. I also don’t listen to much “mainstream” stuff. The closest thing I will get to mainstream is smoothbeats.com.

who really cares nothing but graffiti and break dancing takes any talent to do

you didn’t understand me…i said REAL gangsters…not corner hustlers.

so start rappin

post some of your lyrics up and then post an audio file of you singing them

if people don’t know the difference between hiphop & rap then why even bother.

he could probably bust out some christian rap for you
