agreed. it was an option starting in 2009. i hated them at first, but it brings a little contrast to the back end and really makes the rear diffuser “pop”. i was thinking of powdercoating them black with silver rivets or buying the carbon fiber ones. without them, the back end looks blah and i think it finishes the exhaust off nicely.

I think that would make the car look real boy racer-ish, you would have these silver rivets that would stick out like a sore thumb.
The whole thing is already boy-racer. Not that it’s a bad thing but I feel that way regarding ALL evo’s and sti’s in general.
