The point is Eddy is an old school racer… Carbed and all. The idea between a race was more than HP when viewed as a “sport”. Its reaction time, pedal feel, knowing when to steer, hold, lift and so on. Running from a roll, most old schoolers view its a dumbing down the sport. The skill of suspension set up is almost out of it… Automatics are greatly disadvantaged, thus making variable so different in so many way… tarnishing the sport of drag racing… in some peoples eyes.
Personally, i think its best on a twisty track, or drifting…Digs i think are more legit than rolls … but Im also of a slightly different generation… though I think of my car as anything but a drag car.

I view roll racing as “the last chance to race”… Nothing else was available… no tracks, twisty or straight… no spot… no nuttin… just a simple “Let’s Roll”.

we know where hes coming from, we all understand but its like walking into a pizza shop and demaning they make u a cake! this dude got all uppity for no reason and started calling everyone pussys because they didnt want to dig him when its 40 deg out at most, after their cars have been packed away and for $100!!! thats just not how we roll around here, no pun intended. so until he understands that and how to treat people with some respect, he wont be welcome here by most. thats how i look at it anyways.
