yup, I’ve even read articles that they are giving out free grand slam rain checks for those that show up and don’t have time to wait for a table. Something like 500-1000 rain checks per restaurant.

I just got back from the Denny’s in EG and it was packed to the roof with people. They were giving out rainchecks by the fistful but I waited only for about 15 minutes for a table. Free food always taste so good.
