EARTHQUAKE! 5.5 Magnitude Ontario / Quebec (6/23/2010 1:44pm)

Didn’t feel anything here by UB north. I’ve been sort of in the zone though so I dunno.

Details: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/usc0005ild.html

a 5.9 is a decent hit, but I wouldn’t expect any major damage.

Apparently Henrietta is immune to earthquakes as I didn’t feel a thing.

Deff felt it.

Depends on where you were when it happend in relation to the ground I think. People in cars in Amherst didn’t feel a thing… same with the guy in the elevator.

On the 3rd floor of our new “trampoline” building it felt like someone was shaking my desk and at the same time someone was shaking me in my chair.

5.9 is soft. LOL

I just tried calling my sis in Richmond VA and the call could not be completed…

they’re reporting a lot of landline outages

Felt it here in Staten Island!

must be really serious, they had to evacuate government buildings:

:tinfoilhat:

Probably a Korean nuke going off…

Apparently they evacuated the pentagon also however I can kind of understand not wanting to be underground during an earth quake lol.

Was out on the bike and didn’t feel it.

I heard it was caused by a rush of people heading to best buy on rumor of some HP tablets in stock.

Wait until Irene comes through. HAARP :tinfoilhat:

Didn’t feel shit on the 19th floor DT…but I’m a long way from the ground.

Dam i’m glad to see this thread i was freaking out haha… I’m home sick and in bed it started shaking bad WTF!!

Were you puking pea soup by any chance?

Didn’t feel a thing in East Aurora and no one has said anything about it. :gotme:

Nope but i didn’t know if it was really happening or the drugs… I have been fooled before

Why is NYSpeed always the best place to go for different accounts of stuff like this that happens? LOL
