Edmonton Grand Prix

where do you live now jeff?

I could have been in the Edm Sun tent… but the damn lady I work with thought I already had Gold tickets so I was never offered them… So Gen Admin for me, which is definately better than nothing.

did any one see the red kouki go straight into the cement barakades(sp)? Talked to the owner after he said engine looks saveable and he plans on rebuild the car.

No disrespect to the driver, but I dont see how he can rebuild that car.

I saw that… bounced over the rumble strip with both front tires and bam!!

I don’t see how that car is rebuildable either, even if he cut the entire front end off and welded on another one… I doubt things would line up after that hit.

Damn it! I didn’t stay for the second drift demo today. Yeah, even if that car was salvageable I wouldn’t want to use that chassis. That guy was not even close to the skill of most of the drivers there. Sucks for him though…

The only really impressive drifter was the green S13. The V8 350z was impressive but I’ve seen better drifting by guys on here.

i beleive it is ryan tuerk

yeah he’s not fixing that… it would take a while just to get it to the point where you could take the motor out.

Its didnt look that bad, nothing a sawzall and a welder cant fix.

I dont think people can really judge a drivers skill on a track like that. Any of the Formula D or D1 tracks they actually compete on much tigther and more technically. I heard countless people come to me and say the white 350 that was driven by Chris Forsberg was the best driver there, and I dont think thats true. He just has the most power.
