lol 260k, drivers side wheels are silver passenger side are black, two bad tires, no grille and hood doesn’t close so it sure seems like it was in an accident, and various sensor issues so it won’t pass inspection. This is like a $400 dollar beater as it sits.
Paint all the wheels the same color, fix the grille and hood, replace what sensors you have to so the CEL turns off, and then you could probably get over $1k.
i got the wheels off my buddy who didn’t finish cause he sold his car, and 2 tires r drags, so that explains it, and thats what i said. i have the grill as i said, and i said i can fix it, and 2 sensors that are bad, i got it inspected in sept, so its still good for a while plenty of time to fix. and once i fix everything, i could sell it for more, in better condition people are selling for 2500 to 3000. so i don’t see whats so unreasonable, its a lexus not a dodge or some peice of shit.
lol on a good day you would be lucky to get 1k… Anything over 500 dollars in its current condition take… If you fix everything you may still only get 1k IDK where your getting that 2500-3000 figure…
Wrong dude. You have to get a car inspected when you buy it so whoever buys your car won’t be able to put it on the road until they fix all of the shit.
All vehicles registered in New York State must get a safety inspection and an emissions inspection every 12 months. Both inspections are also required when the ownership of a vehicle is transferred.
That’s why you won’t get over $500 bucks for that car as it sits. It’s not road worthy. It needs two new tires, an unknown CEL (even though you say you know what sensors it is) and an unknown hood latch problem fixed. The CEL and the hood latch could be indicators of major problems, so if they’re not then fix them yourself. You’ll lose more than it will cost you to fix if you sell it as-is but the problems aren’t major.
