I can vouch for the 5500 they hit real hard. If you are looking for great clarity these are not for you, but if you want hitting bass BUY THEM NOW! We had these setup in a ported box, and with a good amp they could dust off the shelves.

No ported box will give you enough clarity to say something like that in a FS.
