Rota got back to me with an invoice late this afternoon, but some of your wheels were not on it. They told me to call back now to go over this, but now their phone is going straight to voice mail. This is the type of thing that’s made me only do this once a year, but I will work through it for you guys as I have the other years.

You will have three options:
A) Choose an alternate wheel of the same price.
B) Choose an alternate wheel of a different price and either receive money back or pay us the difference depending on the change in cost.
C) Receive a full refund.
Last year all but one customer found something they liked, but I have absolutely no problem giving a full refund if Rota doesn’t have something you want. I had people use Paypal because Rota has done this before and this way we can quickly refund customers their money if necessary. I will be urging Rota to ship the wheels on the invoice now while the rest is sorted out to move this along as quickly as possible.
I’ve been calling and calling. One of the other guys has been calling while I’m tuning. I finally got them on the phone just now. Some of the wheels that were on the invoice from two days ago were apparently sold and sent to other companies before they had time to put our order on pallets to send to us. They are the most disorganized company I’ve ever dealt with.
After a lot of screaming they said they’ll send me an invoice tonight and make sure they don’t sell more of the wheels off. They are closed tomorrow for the holiday, but say they’ll ship everything they have Monday.
I will update this thread with the lists of people whose wheels are shipping and whose they now say they don’t have.
They have told me they’ll have an updated inventory sheet on their website tomorrow so we can go over alternate options with people.
Offering to give them deposits on the wheels as they were paid apparently didn’t help.
I apologize. This is why I only deal with Rota once a year.
UPDATE:
They did not email me the invoice last night like they said they would, but they did update their online inventory. Because they didn’t update the invoice I don’t know which people need to look for alternate wheels or ask for a refund. I know this is ridiculous, but unfortunately this is how Rota operates.

We’ve been calling at least 10 times every day, leaving tons of phone messages, I’ve been emailing all of their addresses over and over. They say they’ve shipped most of the wheels, but can’t tell me what they’ve shipped so I can’t even start to let people know whether they’re getting their wheels or not so they can consider other options.
Every year I say I’m not going to do this again because of the nightmare that dealing with Rota is. This time I’m sticking to it. We will see this through and get as many of you your wheels as possible in the next few days, but this will be the last Rota group buy.
mine were +25, honda wheels are always going to be shitty fitment. (high offset)
especially when the wheels they are duplicating don’t have a good offset to begin with
OK Rota STILL has not gotten back to us so we still didn’t know what they sent us or availability on the wheels we’ve asked about, but wheels showed up today.

I took the wheel list with me while running errands and just got someone at rota on the phone. I was able to finish this up. I don’t have all my info on me so I won’t know who the wheels belong to until tomorrow.
I had to make some choices now because it took a week to get them to work on the order again. If you don’t like what I chose for you I’ll refund you in full and put the wheels in stock when they arrive, but I felt this was the best chance of making people happy.

We spent almost ten hours just to get these couple wheels on a second order and fought for over a week to get them to email us an invoice that probably took them 2 minutes to write. I can’t do any more with these idiots. I can’t check stock and I’m not ordering anything else because it’s completely impossible to deal with this people.
