GB: SR / KA fuel injectors 550CC / 600CC / 650CC

i have 6 FD rx7 550’s that need to be cleaned, balanced etc… any idea how much this guy charges?

there is no specific timeline, just waiting for a few people to hop on board then it is a go.

This guy is in the states. You’d be sending the injectors across the border. I’d try Euro-Drive, they do want you want.

Eurodrive only does Topfeeds IIRC.

Still give them a call though.

top feed only

can you run 550s on a ka with safc2? i heard its been done but have never talked to anyone who has actually done it.

Yes, there are many guys with KA-t’s running that setup.

Most with a Z32 MAFS but it works.

Hey Bing,

Let me know when this is gonna happen…I want to piggy back on your shipping and order one of Dave’s Fuel Pump Hardwire Kits.

Thanks.

done

just waiting until it is convenient for a few dudes to meet up for payment is all.

damn you and sidefed bs!

arg!

top fed!

Arg to you! Topfeeds can be found dam near anywhere – for cheap.

bah they require resistor packs and those are more than the damn used gtr injectors!

I believe this is only necessary if you don’t have the right impedance on
the injectors themselves.

I believe the SRs are high-impedance. For example, you can get MSD
injectors which come in high or low impedance for quite a good prcie.

SRs have 11ohm impedance (which is considered high)

Are you new?

High Impediance Top Feeds are a Dime a Dozen.

Hey are these injectors still available? I would like to take the offer pleeease, put me in for a set of 600’s :D…Oh and a date for when you need the money would be great, hopefully its like the 16th

yes it is still open,

we actually havent taken advantage of it yet.

there are between 4-6 people who have said that they would do it but i havent seen any $$$ yet so i havent initiated the buy.

its been a crazy 2 weeks for me but for the guys who are serious we can do this anytime.

this is going down soon, i am ready for mine and there are at least 2 other people ready by next week.

who else is in?

I might be down for this, just a few quick questions (that I was having trouble answering on my own)… because to be honest I’m learning all this car stuff as I go along

Is there a “rule of thumb” when it comes to injectors? I’ll be using a blacktop with a T28, and hoping to hover around the 300 hp mark in a daily driven car… would 550s be fine, or should I step up to the 600s or 650s? Anything major to consider when going to the larger injectors?

Also what else must be modified/added to a stock SR to fully utilize the larger injectors (ie safc, z32 mafs etc)?

i am getting 550’s with a Z32 mafs.

the safc can do it i hear but you would be better off with either an upgraded ecu that has been set for 550’s and z32 mafs or with something more like an emanage or POWER FC

the safc alone doesnt offer a ton of control, but there are people that can get it to do enough with just upgraded mafs and injectors.

An SAFC can really only correct +/- 50% … so it can do 550cc’s

Anything more and you are going to want to step to a different system.

J.J - if you are just looking for 300 with a T28 you will be fine with the 550cc’s…if you think you will use something other than a SAFC…perhaps a Enthalpy tune or standalone, I’d get bigger so you have room to grow.
