Welcome to NYspeed, Tyler. I thought you were outlawdsm from the 10-1 2.3 comment then I saw the pics and I knew for sure. Anything new with the 2g? When are you pushing it over 609awhp?
The 2g made 609 on different cams, different turbo, different intercooler, and a 2.0
Now it has bigger cams(GSC S2’s) better turbo(35HTA) better intercooler(water to air) and a 2.3l. Probably doesn’t make very much more whp than before, but lots more torque.
99% sure i am switching it to automatic once i am outta school. I’m sick of racing from a roll, and auto is much easier on drivetrain.
Argh, sorry. I don’t actually meet up with anyone, from what I’ve seen there are a bunch of Dbags. There are a couple cool people, but I don’t know them too well, plus I have a stock ass S4…
I drove up to Albany on saturday to decent sized meet at a McDonalds/kohls parking lot. Probably 75-100 cars, and there looked to be some decently quick cars, but its so hard to tell with some of the old school muscle if they are fast or just “pro street” styled. At least back in CO there are some old school muscle cars with big slicks and skinnies, full cage, loud as fuck, ect, but they are like 13sec cars.
There was a really sick silver porsche 996/997 that said R turbo on the back of it. I overheard the guy saying it was a Ruf, but he upgraded the turbos and it makes 6xx whp now. Guy seemed to know what he was talking about and the car sounded awesome.
It was kinda depressing being in my slow car and not knowing anybody.
