are you fucking serious? did you see the pre-production work WETA was churning out with peter jackson, or read any of the interviews with peter jackson about their plans for the film?
i bet you thought lord of the rings was going to be a sham too
this film is hardly dead btw, just b/c universal and fox bailed out for being cheap…still plenty of other companies to snag it up…like new line reuniting with peter jackson for another epic tale
