The story I got from one of the Duff’s girls was that the owner of the place next store (owns the lawn where you can usually park) thought that Duff’s was making a lot more money than they were off of these cruise nights, so he raised the rent by a lot, and the owner of Duff’s wasn’t willing to pay that. As for the no drinking outside, they said that their liquor license only allowed them to serve alcohol outside 4 nights per season or something like that, which I thought sounded like bullshit because I was there almost every Monday last year and thought they served outside pretty much everytime.
