My wife and I have done that the past 3 years. I feel better giving to a family that needs the necessities than getting just some extra stuff that I can buy on my own. We got a few gifts from family, but we adopted a family through Child and Family Services again this year. We also donated food to Buffalo City Mission.

Then we bought a bunch of stuff for my 2 neices and got to be with them when they opened them

I don’t need anything at Christmas. I buy what I can or need throughout the year. We redid our kitchen, new windows and siding on the house, and I dumped a ton of cash in my Camaro which I can enjoy all next year!

And no, we’re not rich, just appreciative of what we have and willing to help out families that don’t have much to start.

After all that money in the camaro you drove it 0 times this year. Santa should have brought you some balls lol!
