Thats such an old man way of looking at things. Social Media has progessed society just as much as its regressed certain other things. Yes its more clear than ever how fucking stupid humanity is as displayed through social media outlets, but at the same time it is still used for so much good.

Yes and no. Society itself needs to smack these people and let them know they will not be tolerated. Social media has not really caused a digression of culture, instead it has brought a spotlight to people previously ignored, and made them appear to me more common now.
