The rx-7 was sooooo hot. I loved how it just ZOOMED out of the hole, then there was like .75 seconds of lag once he shifted into second then the 4088r started to roar.

That viper was great too, exhaust sounded pretty good. 11.8 @ 119 if i’m not mistaken.

All these problems I keep hearing about people with them leads me to think otherwise…

I’ve had good luck with my car (knock on wood). Put 37k on it myself and the only problem I had was a leaking axle seal which was covered under warranty.

I take it the track was still horrendous. Still looks pretty dusty (although doesn’t look like a desert like last Wednesday).

And is it just me or does that EVO in the first 2 pics have a terrible paint match job done on the front fender?

No, that’s the lighting on the Evo, it has 20k miles, I’d hope it wasn’t repainted.

And the track was actually really nice last night.

Nah, pretty sure he didn’t get kicked out. He was running consistant low 11’s all night and when I went to ask him about his 60’ I’m pretty sure I saw a roll bar atleast.

Drag radials + lack of low end torque makes that possible.

then he must’ve gotten warned for something because the officials stopped him a couple times on his way back through and the guys he was with kept tryna talk to the officials about something

it happens. i got 55k on my car and have my first actual issue with it(fuel/spark) and i drove 48k of those. last year i had axles issues only, and axles are axles, nothing major.

gotta remember my car is 8 years old now and isnt driven easy at all, its not a daily driver like yours, when i drive my car im in kill mode.
