i appreciate the offer, but i really dont want to make the mess of grinding clean that part of my cage, and adding brackets that get in the way on my cage just for this. i just don’t want that stuff in there. there’s enough people here that are close with Bob Metcalf, im sure these people could have him make an exception if they really wanted to race me. trust me, i would really like to go back to the track to get my 8 second pass with the car. the last time i was at the track, the car felt great the whole night.
If you come to the moms invite, there will be more than enough people there that can talk to Bob so he will let you run.

that is a possibility, that is the bills’ bye week. i would like a little more confirmation that i’ll be able to run though. that is a lot of work and $$$ to haul the car out there for just going on a whim with the strong possibility of not being able to run. also, of course i never know whats going to pop up with work, but as of now im clear.

it ain’t no nhra national event. look at the n/t cars, some just do n/t to get out of tech. last year a syc guy won a bunch of money on the last 2-3 dates car didn’t even have a 6point. beat cars running mid 8’s, myabe even low8s on the big tune up:tspry:
