ugh soo hott

this is way too jdm for the majority of this site. i love it though.

LOL oh geez look what i started!

LOL oh geez look what i started! oops!

seriously tho, is that like the toyota version of the 69 camaro or something, collectible?

Very clean, but iffy probably just because of my lack of familiarity with Japanese classics.

the car is a 1974 carina HT 1600 ST 2t-B with 5mt

not only outrageously impossible to find in the rest of the world because it was never sold outside of japan. but even in japan the only market it was sold in, there is maybe 2 survivors in this kind of OG condition.

and its just pimp. i love old school japanese cars more than i do american cars. the style is much more prevalent/exciting.

japanese collector cars are becoming harder and harder to find. thats why this is such a big deal.

cool looking car

Since it’s “madd rare”, you mean the style is less prevalent?

Many Japanese cars in the 50’s and 60’s were styled using American cues. It’s cool looking as it’s unusual to see, but I don’t find it any more visually appealing than many other cars from the period.

It’s a cool little car.

I dont like it…looks…weird.

gotta agree with ya there tommaso

corrrrrrected

:lolsign:

no i meant the style in this car(tho it does look like a torino in the rear 1/4 and thats it) is very apparent tho it is simple differences.
these cars may have “american heritage” but they are clearly different from what we had/have here
THIS IS MUCH BETTER LOOKING THAN A TORINO

other examples

Exactly, maybe poor choice of wording

Its unique thats for sure

Doesn’t really look like a Torino to me. I see more of a 360 Hornet or a Duster in the 3/4 rear. Torinos are very long and low, different proportions.

I love 2000GTs and 510s too  I also like seeing younger guys (i.e under 40-50) taking an interest in vintage cars. It’s a totally different experience than a modern one.

my grandpa used to drive one of thoes

lol

awesome car.

hey! sorry robert hasnt answered your question in jap.nostal.car forum about whether or not his project “chippy” is sold. but it is. it will be in buffalo tomorrow or monday.
