I’m going to see them for my first time, can’t wait! I’m going Saturday for Selling England by the Pound.
Great finale and great song to go with it…
On topic, I’ve been listneing to a lot of old Smashing Pumpkins lately…
I don’t know if I’ve seen Selling England by the Pound yet. The day before is Foxtrot I believe. Which is what I saw during the October storm for our dating anniversary.
I summarize it up as “You are not seeing a concert, you’re seeing a performance”

Can’t remember if I posted this or not. This has to be one of the best metal albums ever created. This song exemplifies bad ass:
Perfect way to finish out the work day…
Heard this today…
Nobody could sing like Dio and for the most part, most new bands couldnt make songs like Him or Black Sabbath
Meh, he’s o.k., but no one can sing like that guy from Rainbow:
Seriously though, if you are into male vocalists with a strong similarity to Dio I recommend checking out Jørn Lande.
Like I said before, I hate picking a single song, so this is at random:
Ayreon also brings on strong vocalists on his albums, Jørn appears as a main character in 01011001. I don’t want to say it’s “good”, but it is really fun to listen to:
Ayreon’s other albums brings a wide variety of vocal and musical talents; The Human Equation and Into the Electric Castle are also worth checking out.
Sabbath is so good. I’m pretty sure they lifted most of their video straight from Zeitgeist.
The Lawrence Arms.
Been listening to lots of Chiodos and D.R.U.G.S. lately… Chiodos album “illuminaudio” is for sure one of my favorite albums…one of few I can listen straight through.

Love the intro to this song…
I always forget about Ion Dissonance, I’d love to jam this type of stuff.
Do yourself a favor and listen to this song all the way through…it has amazing buildup and is REALLY well composed.
Also, Between the Buried and Me does some nasty things with time signatures
