problems i have with that band you posted- the fact that they aren’t currently signed to any label (via their wiki, because they suck), the fact that they cant seem to keep any members for more than a few years (again, from their wiki, prob because the band members themselves hate the music they make eventually, because they suck) and mainly because that “sound” as i will so generously call it is COMPLETELY indistinguishable from a whole slew of other awful, overproduced, perfect sounding “mainstream fucking metal, bro” bands. its so bad!

I think your missing the point of this thread. It is not post what your all time favorite bands or genre is. It’s what are you listening to right now. Because I posted up one video of a song I was listening to, does not mean i follow the band and consider them one of my favorites. I like what I like, you like what you like. If you like music that goes coo coo ca choo, then by all means listen to it. You like listening about sitting on corn flakes and being a walrus, go ahead. Just know the pot smoking hippy era is dead, so let it rest in peace.

I just want to say that I’m with Jam, the black keys are pretty rad and they are awesome live. The wife dragged me to see them this summer and I was really impressed.
RIP to Eyedea…28 years old, died in his sleep the other day (cause of death not released yet). I’ve been listening to him since the late 90’s when he was tearing up Scribble Jam as a teenager. A lyrical poet, he dominated the battle scene and had several appearances on many tracks with his fellow Rhymesayers. Often compared to Eminem, he was pretty amazing…def. gonna be missed in the hip hop community:(
