Mine is like that too. It sticks up maybe a 1/4 inch. It does help cooling with though.

Yea I got a clearance sale going on right now. As for beating an mr2 from a roll you are going to need kpro, full exhaust, cams,nitrous, a turbo or three, the power of god, a good back wind and probably a good set of tires
