FS: 1993 Corvette with over $6,000 in upgrades

Well, Today is 6-16-09 and I decided to put her back up for sale. I moved from Elma to Marilla (wont see the car at the same house). E-mail me at randysoby@yahoo.com if you are interested. I am getting an oil change and an inspection done this week so the car will be ready to go. I’m looking to get $10,900 for the car OBO.

I have to sell my first love because we need the money for a house. Up for sale is a 1993 Corvette that is in excellent condition. The paint is 99.999% flawless (a few small stone chips) with a perfect shine (repainted 5 years ago by Jimmy Shine http://www.jimmyshinecustompaint.com (over 4k for the paint job)10/10). I also had the stereo upgraded last year and added in a pioneer cd player (top of the line = bluetooth, xm radio, usb etc.), an orion 4 X 75 watt amp (475sx) (a 10 year old amp that you cant find anymore made 100 times better then todays pos’s.) 2 Kicker 6 inch component speakers is the stock locations and 2 8 inch Kicker Solobaric subwoofers where the oem rear speakers went. I didn’t give up and area for large speakers or amps and it sounds a 10 / 10. I listen to classic rock and international music (polish) so the sound system was never beat on. It sounds amazing for not giving up an inch of hatch space.

There are 93k miles on her and she runs and drives flawlessly. I wouldn’t think twice about driving her cross country. I bought the car with the upgrades already done but here is what I know was done:

K and N intake with 3 filters (1 million mile warranty), Borla Stainless exhaust, Aftermarket transmission (I have the receipt but I do not understand it)FC350 Foward Pattern, 10" race w/ plate, 700 to 350 changeover kit, 350 core etc. There is also a 3 speed racing shifter installed. (B & M prostick, backup switch etc.

There is a total of over $6,000 in upgrades.

I priced this to sell. E-mail me with any questions. I check my e-mail a few times a day. randysoby@yahoo.com. Sorry about the picture quality.

I am asking $10.900 for a quick sale

nice car, LT1 p0wa no less

Clarification for the tranny.

It has a Turbo 350
FC= Full Competition
Forward Pattern= top is park, then reverse, neutral, 3rd, 2nd, 1st
10" race /plate= 10" converter (probably salls at least 3500) with an anti-balooning plate which is excellent for nitrous.
700-350 changeover kit= A spacer is installed between the th350 housing and tailshaft (the kit uses the 700 tail) to make the trannies the exact same length so that the stock driveshaft and crossmember can be used, also the speedo will be correct.

I am guessing the tranny is from Competition Transmission in NT, because that is how Carl writes out the receipts. If so, the tranny is capable of handing 700hp, and the converter 800hp.

Seen this on bullis i believe.

Hot car, I was thinking about stopping then I realized theres no point haha.
(insurance.)

Thanks for the info Joelster.

Yep, I am on Bullis in Elma (about 12 minutes east of Transit). The insurance is pretty cheap. Call for a quote before you assume that it is expensive. I went through the same issue before I bought it.

I was going to dump some serious cash in the car but due to an expanding family more living space takes priority.

I do have reciepts for most of the mods as well.

Wow, you are good…

insurance on corvettes isn’t all that bad honestly. A few years ago I was torn between a 98 Corvette and an 01 Mustang GT. Ironically enough, the Mustang insurance was more expensive for the same policy.

Probably because Corvette owners usually take better car of their cars than mustang owners and will be more careful with them.

lol

Just added a few pic’s. Let me know what you think.

i wouldnt totally disagree, just because some would argue that the c5 makes people puke in they mouth.

drove past this yesterday on Bullis, hot lookin car!!

Yah this car looks great! If I didn’t already have a corvette i’d buy this…though i could use a rainy day corvette …

Damn hott color. GLWS

i need the money asap so make me some offers.
