I am posting this for a family member. He has too many cars, and needs to get the least expensive one out, to make room for the new toy.
It was fully restored front to back, and professionally resprayed factory red, by a reputable local corvette restoration shop. While the motor was out for the respray, it was fully built.
The chassis has 103k on it, and has never seen a winter. Edelbrock cam, and brand hew head was installed less than 2,000 miles ago. The bottom end was fully rebuilt using all original equipment parts, and all machine work was preformed. At this time the exhaust was also fully replaced, along with all bushings, struts and springs. Brand new calipers and rotors were also thrown on. The car comes with two sets of wheels and tires, both are in excellent shape and have almost ALL tread left. One set is the chrome Cragar wheels pictured, and the second set are the factory rally sports, fully complete with beauty rings and center caps. The interior was fully stripped and replaced with all factory parts, including but not limited to: Dash, glove box, BOTH LEATHER SEATS, carpet, door sills, sun visors, t-top straps and carrying bags, shift boot, e-brake mechanism and handle, center console, etc. etc. There is a pioneer cd player wired in the glove compartment.
Everything that could’ve been replaced was. Including, fans, belts, shrouds, alternator, distributor, hoses, wires, master cylinder, slave cylinder, carb, clutch, battery, all internals (like mentioned before), all bushings, gas tank, etc etc. All of these parts have less than 2,000 miles on them.
The car itself has never seen rain, or snow since the restoration. It is garaged throughout the year and is eligible for classic car insurance which is somewhere around $58 a year. The front end was backed into about a year ago, and the paint on the tip of the nose spider cracked. This is the only imperfection and you cannot tell from even a foot away.
Asking $13,500 OBO. He has receipts for everything, they total to the tune of $20,000, not including labor or the original cost of the car.
