Not sure of the KM of the top of my head right now, maybe around 130xxx on the body, 60-70xxx on the engine.
I know I said I was going to fix up this car but I really don’t have the time to do it, and I’m looking for something a bit more suitable for a year round daily driver.
This is everything that needs to be fixed:
Struts, strut mounts, outer tie rod ends, lower ball joints, front brakes and rotors.
Exhaust needs some work, various dents around the car, the interior is great no tears or anything. I’m sure a lot of you know more about it than I do so anything anyone thinks should be added go ahead.
I’m in Hinton Alberta and I probably won’t drive it anywhere to show it, unless I get a 100% guarantee it’s going to be sold, which won’t happen.
Some older pics to give you an idea. These are before I straightened out the front bumper, you can’t really tell in these pictures anyways. But I can take new ones if anyone’s interested.
This thread has some more info on the history of the car.
While I was told the front end was replaced after the original head lights were vandalized, it seems an unlikely story after more I found out about it.
thats kool,i am really interwested in it this but i have lots of shiznaz to do right now so maybe this weekend i will come to hinton. i live in whitecourt so it wont take long to get there.
edit:
since this car has been registered and insured (i assume it was as josh owned/drove it for a while), wouldn’t an OOP inspection not be necessary? wouldn’t a basic safety inspection cover it? also, would you consider a trade + cash for my 1988 civic wagon ?
Ya that’s right. Still won’t pass the safety insp. in this condition though. And it’s gonna need a wheel alignment anyways I bet, so that’s basically an OOP anyways.
As for rust, all I can remember now is that there’s minimal rust on the inside edges of the fenders. Nothing super serious that I can think of off the top of my head.
