Honda's "Secret Collection"

I’m sure that silver CRX Si has less than 1,000 miles on it.

Oh and that red Civic was in Super Street at some point(see rear license plate). So like I said, it def. has some significance or else it wouldn’t be in there.

I actually read about stuff that I’m interested in, this place has been around a lot longer than today. The 88 Si has 100k on it.

:facepalm
You would do excessive research on dumb stuff like that.

Yeah better than making stuff up off the top of my head like Dkid

You think you know everything which is fantastic. However autopower did not make roll cages for the ek civic until 2003-2004. That car was retired by 2001.

I just read it was the first honda to make the cover of an import magazine. I cant confirm though cuz others say it was the first honda in super street.

no it doesnt.

I’m still waiting for you to explain how the red civic with the NX bottle and amps in the back and bolt in roll cage is a track car with an insane cage…

:facepalm

The first CRX was developed entirely in Japan–it was dropped on the dealer sales body, who was told to sell it. The U.S. arm had no hand in its development. The '88 model, on the other hand, had some input from the American marketing arm. This stock silver five-speed Si was a one-owner car with 100,000 miles until the museum claimed it for its collection.

Please scroll down to bento_boxs post.

I dunno jack shit about honda roll cages but this looks exactly like the autopower “race” rollbar that they make for a lot of cars…

Yeah, I will say that Bento_Boxs did say all the stock production cars have “less than 500 miles on them”

If you read the post that civic is a 99 si. It has a fully built b16a that was turbocharged by hks. It was the superstreet car for a long time.

He is a visitor to the museum, not an interviewer asking the owner questions. I will believe the publication for now.

No. Autopower cages bolt to the rear struts on civics and integras. If it was a bolt in cage it could be kirks racing which does bolt in like the one shown. PW almost all cages have the diagonal crossbeam with a harness bar on the driver side.

thats not a cage thats a bar

and is this the rear strut?

Also, finding all of those stock cars with less than 500 miles on them to add to the collection would be impossible unless someone happened upon a heated garage full of Hondas that were driven there from the dealership and parked. I think this place is more to show off Honda’s accomplishments in America than it is to show off pristine examples of cars.

What you posted is a cage. What i was reffering to is a cage. In the car there is a cage. The diagonal crossbeam is incorporated in many roll cages. I dont get where your going here.

there is not a cage in the car in the museum. its just a bar. the car i posted is the autopower race rollbar with the optional weld-in front cage section

oh my god, yes there is you fucktard.
