I’ve seen 3-4 diff Mas Coupes driving around here in the last two months.
2 downtown, 1 in cheektowaga/depew, and 1 I see rather often in the commute through willyville.

My vote goes for the Maserati. You just don’t see many of them. The 00-04 coupe’s are nice. But I love the GranTurismo:

NSX: Exotic looks, without necessarily the performance. But a solid, if not overly humped choice. Would probably end up with 17 year old honda boys wanting to swing off your balls.
Elise: Exotic looks, been there sold that already.
C6 Vette: Not as exotic, bit more common. Should something break it’s easier to have fixed. Solid performance, but that isn’t the objective here.
Viper: Early ones will stab you in your sleep.
911: Classy, elegant car, common enough that anyone not into cars would know what it is.
Maserati: Looks nice.

I don’t really picture newman as the type to drive a luxury-oriented sports car.
absolutely nsx, classy, clean, and as you can tell value does not drop as fast as the rest on the list. and the boosted ones are MEAN.
