The digital dash in those cars isn’t as cool as I thought it would be - I was riding with Bing and we were flying down the highway when I asked him how fast we were going:
Bing: “Well 199 since that’s as high as the digital speedo goes, lol!”
Me: “Well you silly Canadian, that’s as high as it goes in KPH - change it from KPH to MPH and now it will max out at 199 MPH.”
Bing: “Word to big bird! … oh… we’re doing only 124mph… I guess it won’t read higher than that in mph.”
Me: “Really? That sucks.”
What steering hub is on that? When u get a chance can u take a side view pic of the hub. Also did the wheel get closer to u or farther away from u? Nice coupe. time for a swap. Lol
Yeah it came about 2 inches closer to me. the hub came with the wheel… Yes i know its a pep boys steering wheel but for 90 bucks what could go wrong. you have to buy the hub kit for the car though. I personly like it alot.
as for digi read out…was it a stock motor and did he remove the speed limiters? cause they will go right up to 199 if you could even go that fast.
You should fix your headlights.
Nice project. Only gripe is the exhaust is to low for WNY. Keep 'em coming.
yeah that exhaust is like…on its last life. Its being held by one hook on the dual tips and one another hook thats like next to the resonator…theres suppose to be a total of 5 hangers that hold on the exaust…i got 2 out of 5…not to bad lol

Where did u buy the carpet at? Mine has a little rip in it with some rust and im fixin the rust so i need a new carpet. It looks like u have to cut the holes for the seats to bolt in. Another thing did i heard u need to unbolt a few things from underneath the dash is that true?? THanks
I got the carpet from ebay member “customfitautoaccess” I got it for 120. Yes you do have to cut all the opens in the carpet. It comes pre molded but the mold isn’t all that great. You can remove the dash if you want but all i did since i cut the carpet down the middle of the trany tunnel i pushed the rest up under the dash board. Do the same when removing it.

I already did the dying of the carpet in my 240, since it didn’t have any tears just alot of stains. Its up on 240sxforums.com under the DIY. Just letting you know.
