PITTspeed.com was picked to be on Pinks in the end of July at MIR.

Congrats to our friends one state south. :tup: Is this the frist 240sx on Pinks?

The owner of the car was one of the guys I hung out with @ Calisle after everyone left.

The car still needs some work, and will get it… I hope a larger turbo.

Yeah, I agree with NEWMAN, it’s more about your :snky: ness, and sandbagging/ negociating, IMHO

It would be really cool to see something more local go down, and perhaps get the “real story” about the show after the fact.

Somebody had an entry in last year’s $2005 Challenge for Grassroots Motorsports that was in the 10’s.

haha i watched it one time (civic hatch vs old school RX-7 i think) where these guys had a nitrous bottle and it was fake. the dumbasses on the other team were too paranooid about the actual presence of this huge bottle (bolted right where the passenger seat should have been, so EVERYONE could see it) to realize that there were no solenoids under the hood. upon LOOSING the team then revealed that the bottle was a fake. :lol:

edit: hell, you could probably even run nitrous solenoids the same snky way (and mount the bottle where the spare tire goes lol

that 240 sucks balls…

more than half the gear on it is the lowest end of the spectrum you can buy right now.

and BS on the 12’s if he has stock injectors, stock mafs, stock computer and i highyl doubt he put on tires that cost more than his $75 rims.

it likely has an open diff too.

be lucky to run mid 13’s unless it has one of those super sweet intake chips that are good for 35whp

S13s have a really tough time hooking up off the line. Not a good choice for a drag race
