Looking to go to one car for the summer.
So if someone is looking or knows someone looking for a large reliable efficient sedan for a good price let me know. It is a Dark Silver 2008 Chevy Impala Lt with around 64k miles. It has factory remote start and mp3 connectivity. Interior has the silver finish rather than the grandma wood grain.
It has some scratches and a small ding on the rear passenger door, but I would say that fits into the “good” category for kbb. I have gotten 30 mpg on long trips and average ~25 on each tank.
Some items of note:
New tires 50k
All new pads and rotors at 45k (installed by Don)
Price is $9,950 which is below KBB private party.
Car is in Detroit but if someone is serious I might be able to drive it to Buffalo next weekend.
I can’t think of any person who would ever want one of these cars.
Seriously though… average dealer retail price is $11,721 with 62,545 miles as of today. This is a deal because I would bet it was impeccably maintained considering the guy driving it.
Thanks Dave. I bought this car as my “low profile” vehicle. It doesn’t draw attention, high utility, comfortable and gets good gas mileage. It has done all of those things well. I even use it as a first date car (good for checking the motives).
I think it is priced fair for a low mileage example.
The interior is meticulous. Like I said the exterior has some marks against it, but that is what you get when you are in a parking garage daily. I also have all the service records since I got it. Ready for someone else to drive it. I have only been driving it about once a week since the V came out of storage.
