Ran into a Yellow b5 s4 looks like it came from the thunder dome. Decided what the hell? why not… we met up at a light and he gave me this look like “this guy has no idea whats about to happen.” So I just started from a slow roll (new clutch) and he gunned it. Pulled a car or two on me while I spun through second, third I hooked and blew past him really wasn’t worth going any longer. I’ve been running on a safe calibration tune so probably 10 degrees of timing at redline with 20ish psi.
It sounded pretty good possibly an exhaust and other mods. Wondering if anyone has seen this car or knows the owner looked like it had BBS rims. RACEWARZ
Not ready for the track yet, still have to replace cooling fan. It would run too hot in the lines to get to the track, besides I’ve never run decent times on cruise nights that track ends up a total disaster for fwd traction. Test and tune is usually a different story.
haha awesome yeah… no reason for getting all fired up guy. If I were to run my car “seriously” with slicks it wouldn’t be at lancaster or any 1/8th mile for that matter. I’m all for some no bullshit/friendly rolls but any fwd platform on a short track is pointless. I’ll hit up test and tune with ya once I get the cooling fan fixed or if you wanna go from a roll I’m fine with that two and this is without having any idea as to what setup/vehicle you own.
X5M, I’m quick from a dig up to 100 then this stupid thing called aerodynamics kick in not to mention I weigh about 5500. That’s why I like Lancaster, I can beat up on people that would crush me from a roll.
 I could understand why. I’m sure it rips at the 1/8th, what do you run BTW? My last setup at cruise night ran 10.3 a couple years ago… I was pissed so determination kicked in and I came back the following day for test and tune (much better scene and atmosphere) ran the car three times and the water pump went but managed to hit 8.9 @ 89 with a 60 of 2.3 still thinking it could have hit mid to low 8’s if I could grip second. Which is the reason why I usually don’t race on cruise night. New setup should be a bit quicker. I’ll definitely hit ya up about test and time when the time comes you seem like a pretty reasonable guy.
Ran 8.16 at 88 last night 1.95 60ft. Previous best on a 1/4 pass is 7.9 at 90. I still have some tricks up my sleeve that I haven’t used at Lancaster though.
This “truck” moves out. I really like seeing this thing go. You two would be a pretty good race, Frank would be playin catch up for sure but it would end pretty even in the 1/8th.
