1989 240sx hatch for parts/project/daily driver

up for sale is an 89 s13 hatch in pretty decent shape. selling as is. passed safety three months ago. comes with valid etest. its pretty dirty right now in the pictures. good running SOHC engine. 177xxx kms. silver in colour with blue interior. seats are in good shape, carpet and dash are in good shape. has a brand new clutch with 2000 kms on it.

the bad is that the rear subframe broke from winter drifting and i welded it so its drivable but it wouldnt pass safety. also there is a hole in the drivers side wheel well that would need to be patched. aside from that its in decent shape. any other rust is just surface rust. frame rails appear rusty but are solid.

if you wanted it to pass safety i couldnt see it costing more then a couple hundred for a subframe and patching the hole. or you could strip it down and make a project out of it or trash it for drifting on the track or buy the whole thing just for all the parts on it.

if i dont sell the whole car in a month ill consider parting it out piece by peice and then what i dont sell ill take for scrap weight.

do you have a picture of the rear subframe were you welded it i havea friend who is interested in getting his first s13

I might be able to get one tonight. It’s the mount that the upper control arm bolts to. Got ripped out of the subframe so I welded it right back into place.

Hey, is the car still up for sale? I Live in Ottawa so My real only concern is Will I be able to drive it home? If I slap a temp. Permit on it will it make it to Ottawa?

I don’t see why not. It’s in fit status on the ownership right now so you can get temp plates for it. As for driving it I wouldn’t see any problems. It runs like a champ.

bump! lots of interest. no one has made the journey to come see it or throw down money yet. also it now has stock s13 7 spokes on it instead of the steelies.
